Each team who registers will be provided with an Orange Jersey Welcome Package. Included in each package are resources for the coaches and jerseys with QR codes. The QR code will assist each participant to enter the learning tools and resources, known as the Learning Management System (LMS).

In addition, resources from the Orange Shirt Society are available to assist participants along the way.

Thanks to our generous sponsors, this program is at no cost to teams.

Open your phone or tablet camera app and point the camera at the QR code. Make sure the QR code is centered on your phone’s screen. All four edges of the QR code should be on your phone’s screen. It should scan almost immediately and the tap the web browser notification will appear at the top of the screen.

Note: depending on your phone, you may have to download a free QR code reader with no ads app.

You can also use a computer or laptop camera to scan the QR Code.

If you are unable to scan the QR code, you can access the learning material on our website www.orangejerseyproject.ca

Each athlete will be able to login and complete the LMS on a computer, tablet, or phone.

We encourage each coach to reach out to their athletes to ensure they have what they need to complete the LMS. In some cases, we encourage the coaches to buddy up the athletes so that everyone has a chance to participate.

Should you run into any issues, please reach out to the Info email and a member of our team will be in contact info@orangejerseproject.ca we will be keeping a record of those who are unable to complete the LMS to determine if a paper version of the material should be created.

We encourage athletes to reach out to a parent, coach, or another adult they trust to discuss their feelings.

Yes! We have plans to roll out this project to Football, soccer, football and lacrosse 2024/2025. Other sports may be added as well.

Name of Coach/Manager, Telephone Number, E-mail, Address, and number/size of jerseys are all mandatory.

At the current moment, OJP does not send free jerseys to individuals. We are working with Professional and Elite Athletes and Teams that would like to support OJP.

Yes! an online store will launch Late 2023. Please follow our social media channels to stay up to date.

We have used a login learning management system that only the Orange Jersey Project Team or those who are participating can access. Controls have been put in place to protect the system and data. All videos have been uploaded with a no comment feature to disable inappropriate commentary from occurring. Website includes best practice firewalls, automated security patches, and data encryption while in transit, is in place.
